Ultimate is a popular fast-paced non-contact sport suitable for players of all ages. Many people play for fun and recreation, while others train to compete at international events. The VUL offers a variety of leagues throughout the year for adult and youth players of all levels.

Lenami Godinez-Avila Memorial Scholarship Fund
Several weeks ago we sadly lost one of our members to a tragic hang gliding accident. A memorial scholarship fund has been set up in Lenami’s honour to support female international students who exemplify the values that she held dear: hard work, and a passion for sustainability and community. Summer League has started!
The schedules are up! 234 teams are playing 789 games this month! Check out this announcement in the Forum for some important information.
Team and Individual registration has come and gone. If you are still looking to play, try posting on matchmaker and the forum. There are still teams filling out their rosters. All Summer League information is available on the Summer League page.

Ultimate Day
Be sure to sign up on the calendar for all Ultimate Day clinics and workshops - many will fill up.
So what is Ultimate Day?
- Annual Captains Meeting – vote on rule changes, learn about our 5-year plan
- Workshops & Clinics- learn about skills, game strategy and staying healthly
- Tradeshow- ulty merch, league and tourney info
- Good-time games, prizes and surprises!
It’s a day full of everything you need to get ready for Summer League; It’s edutainment for players of all ages and skill levels!
Plus, you can win a R&B keg for your team! Simply display your status as ‘going’ on the Facebook event page and you’ll be entered in the draw.
Welcome Craig Kulyk - Feb 14
The Vancouver Ultimate League Society is pleased to welcome a new member to our team!
As of February 1, Craig Kulyk joined the VULS as our new Marketing Coordinator. Craig has been working with us part-time over the past year, organizing great parties and leading new market research. With a background in marketing and events in Canada and overseas, Craig brings a wealth of new ideas, experience and knowledge to our team. With a third staff member, we are now better positioned to improve and expand the programs and services we offer to all members. Please join us in welcoming Craig Kulyk to the VUL!
