Summer Junior League - 2011
Format and Game Times
Standard VUL coed format, with a minimium 3 of each gender on the field (see VUL rules).
The minimum age of all players is 14 years, and the maximum age is 18 (as of December 31).
Games are on MONDAY EVENINGS from 6:30-8:30pm. The league runs for 6 weeks from June 20 to July 25. (It was scheduled to start June 13, but has been postponed due to the Canucks game that night).
All games will be held at Winona Park at 59th and Yukon.
Registration
See dates for registration below. You have two options to sign up:
- TEAM: If you have organized 12 or more people to play, you can register as a Team. Note that we recommend a roster of 14-16 players, though.
- INDIVIDUAL: If you don't have a team, you can register an Individual, Pair or Trio, and we'll place you on a team with others who don't have a team.
Complete these steps to register:
- All players must complete the Parental Consent form with their parent or guardian. You can bring these forms with you if you register in person, or bring them to the first game if you register online.
- You can register online with a credit card, or bring a printed registration form with cash or cheque to an in-person registration day (see dates below). For teams, the captain only needs to pay the $250 team fee. For individuals, only one person in a group needs to register and pay.
- Before the first game, all players must also complete the online Consent form. NOTE: If you register online as a group of 2 or 3, you will receive a Registration Code by email. Your friends MUST enter that code when they complete the online Consent form.
