Fall Junior Turf League 2011
Format and Game Times
Games are played 5 on 5 (with 3/2 gender split) on smaller fields: 25m wide and 75m long (15m endzones). Players sub 'on the fly' from a designated spot on the sideline. See the rules page for full details.
Games will be played on Sunday evenings from 6:00-8:00pm at Point Grey turf field. Cleats or runners can be used on this field, but we recommend cleats.
Play runs from September into December (see dates below).
Registration
All players must be in attendance at a high school this Fall. The minimum age is 14 and the maximum is 18, as of December 31.
You have two options to sign up:
- TEAM: If you have organized 12 or more people to play, you can register as a Team. Note that we recommend a roster of 14-16 players.
- INDIVIDUAL: If you don't have a team, you can register an Individual, Pair or Trio, and we'll place you on a team with others who don't have a team.
See registration dates below, and complete these steps to register:
- All players must complete the Parental Consent form with their parent or guardian. You can bring these forms with you if you register in person, or bring them to the first game if you register online.
- You can register online with a credit card, or bring a printed registration form with cash or cheque to register in-person (see dates below). For teams, only the captain needs to pay the $250 team fee. For individuals, only one person in a group needs to register and pay.
- Before the first game, all players must also complete the online Consent form. NOTE: If you register online as a group of 2 or 3, you will receive a Registration Code by email. Your friends MUST enter that code when they complete the online Consent form for you to be placed on the same team.
