Fall Junior 5-on-5 Turf League 2009
The VUL is pleased to present a NEW fall league for high school aged players!
5-on-5 format
Games are played 5 on 5 (with 3/2 gender split) on smaller fields: 25m wide and 75m long (15m endzones). Players sub 'on the fly' from a designated spot on the sideline. See the rules page for full details.
Game Times and Fields
All games will be played on Sunday evenings from 6:00-8:00pm at the Point Grey turf field. Cleats or runners can be used on this field, but we recommend cleats.
Registration
All players must be in attendance at a high school this fall.
Registration will be done on an individual basis, but players can request to be placed on a team with their friends. We will do our best to accommodate these requests, but reserve the right to shift players from one team to another to create balanced teams and ensure fair play.
You can register online with a credit card, or in-person at Point Grey field on Sept 20 with cash or cheque.
When you register, you will be asked for:
• current grade in high school
• number of years you have played ultimate
• your requested team, if any - if you have a group of friends that wish to play together, pick a name for your team and specify that team name here; if you do not have a team yet, leave this field blank
• the name of a team team that you recently played with, if any (school, VUL, club)
• contact and payment details
• acceptance of a Spirit Agreement and Statement of Consent.
All players must submit a junior waiver & consent form to the league office before the league begins. If you register in person, you can drop off the form at that time. If you register online, your form can be scanned & emailed to the Executive Director, faxed to 604-909-1812, or mailed to Box 53502, 984 West Broadway, Vancouver, BC V5Z 1G7.
Important Dates for 2009

| September 25 | Online Registration ends (extended from the 18th) |
| September 27 | Regular games begin |
| October 11 | Pickup games for Thanksgiving (no league games) |
| December 6 | League games end |
