2011 AGM - Strategic Plan Overview
In 2011, the VULS Board of Directors undertook to create a long-term strategic plan for the Society. This was the first time the Board had engaged in such an activity.
The Strategic Plan is meant to guide the choices of the VULS Board and staff over a five-year period. It will help the Board to set priorities and objectives, and staff to generate annual operating plans. Its purpose is to stretch the Society in new directions and improve upon what we do currently. It is a living, breathing document, and will be reviewed annually and revised as necessary.
The plan consists of a one-page summary covering our Core Values, Mission Statement, Five-Year Goal, and 4 Critical Success Factors, followed by additional detail on each of the Critical Success Factors. The Plan does not cover ongoing operational activities.
